CHICAGO | ST. LOUIS | CHICAGO, IL - THE SECOND VISIT | CLEVELAND, OH |
Dennis and I decided it was time to take to the road again and visit some more baseball parks like in past years. We have made vacation trips to see other stadiums of teams like the New York Yankees, New York Mets, Baltimore Orioles, Washington Nationals, Seattle Mariners, Los Angeles Dodgers, Los Angeles Angels (formally of Anaheim), and San Diego Padres. - Dave McGrath-Wagner |
The picture above is of the Capital of Missiouri. Enroute from Chicago, IL to St. Louis, MO we made a stop in Springfield IL to see the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Museum and the house where Abraham Lincoln spent most of his adult life. He accepted the Republican Party's Nomination for President from the house. |
We took in a game between the St Louis Cardinals and Milwaukee Brewers. The St. Louis Cardinals won that night game. |
During our stay in St. Louis, MO visited the Gateway Arch and took a trip up inside. We enjoyed a wonderful evening musical performance of Jesus Christ Superstar at the Forest Park's Muny Theater. This is the oldest and largest musical outdoor theater in the country. The pictures below were taken at the Gateway Arch. |
The pictures below were taken during our walking tour of Anheuser Busch, Inc. in St. Louis, MO. The best part when they offer you two complimentary drinks of beer at the end of the tour. |
